A New Beginning…

I have a lot to blog about and access on my phone to do it, yet I never do. As I sit here at the gym I am thinking about my weight loss goals and how I have changed these past 4 months. I have lost 34 pounds and am starting to feel great about myself. I am not to my goals yet… but I am getting closer. I think about 4 months ago I wouldn’t go anywhere alone. Now I am at the gym alone and feel okay about it. I feel comfortable alone.  I have been to the movies alone and feel comfortable. I have taken myself to the restaurant alone and feel comfortable. I feel comfortable alone…. and what happens? I get engaged. I am getting married on August 30th and I truly think God wanted me to get to the point where I was okay with myself before He could add another person to my life. Now of course I am feeling 10,000 pounds of added stress with everything associated with a wedding. But, it is an exciting stress and I am ready for what lies ahead.

Hopefully this post will be the start of more frequent posts.

*Enjoy the photo of my Fijian family. This was from this past weekend in Santa Rosa, CA.

*And two of my nephews. Who are amazing!

*And Samuel and my future husband 🙂

*And my cute little babies, Isaac and Faye Faye

*And my Godsend Margaret who is a huge blessing in my life. I don’t think she realizes how much so. We are going to start a party decorating business. I will post more about that later today.

And this beauty is a like 2 months difference in my face from working out!

I am a conservative, slightly old-fashioned crazy girl. I love to read, write, sew, scrapbook, cook, bake, do crafts, enjoy nature, take my car off-roading, ride my bike, and just stay busy. I sometimes say I want a lazy day BUT I hate not having anything to do which means I frequently stretch myself too thin. I am the Life Enrichment Director at an assisted living facility. I love being around the elderly population. They are such amazing people who have so much to offer and teach. I also love the little guys too... I love being around kids, especially my nieces and nephews! In December of 2019 I was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation that quite literally may have been a life changing diagnosis. I went from feeling like I was crazy. To maybe having answers.
