1 Interesting Facts… I don’t find myself interesting. I love to read. I can read a book a day if I wanted to. I can speed read at that.
2 I am left handed but cut, play baseball, bowl, throw balls and many more right handed. I can bat either way though… my secret weapon!
3 I love purses.
4 My favorite color is fire engine red.
5 Speaking of the color red…. I want to be a fire fighter or go into paramedic training. It is my secret career…
6 My favorite number is 15. Is that interesting? NO! Growing up in elementary school they always assigned us numbers. I usually was 15 thus it became my favorite number.
7 I am a hopeless romantic and cry in TV shows and movies VERY easily. I cry during reality TV also. HOW EMBARASSIN’!
8 I talk in my sleep… Full on conversations.
9 I like to do creative things… like cut paper and glue them together. I love picture frames!
10 Besides my favorite number… I do not like odd numbers! It is my little OCD moment… I like walking an even number of steps…
11 I love Phad Thai and Mussaman Curry.
12 I want to travel. I crave traveling because I love history… I want to see the world.
13 I am afraid if the dark, drowning, and squirrels.
14 I am deathly afraid of losing my memory like the people at work.
15 it is hard to think of 15 things about myself… I am smart, caring, wild, and crazy… I love checklists and will add things on my list JUST to check it off.

I think I might do the crayon art with the residents…. Minus the Crayola Wrappers… I better PIN IT!!!
Oh my residents!
Last night one of my residents send me a picture message! Made me laugh! Those silly old people! She sent me a picture of the gingerbread tree she made… SUCH AN EMERGENCY! It was cute she was excited about it. Only bad thing is that I dreamt about ARBOR VILLAGE ALL NIGHT LONG!
Today we made pies in a jar. I used baby food jars instead of canning jars. On the way to work I ate 4 jars of baby food. THAT STUFF IS FILLING!!!!! Anyways, the pies turned out delicious. I took the directions from a blog EVEN though one of my corworkers learned about it at 3:00am on Martha Stewart. I seem to have troubles attaching links so I hope it works… if it didn’t I will leave it in a comment!
My busy month…
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… at Arbor Village
Today I started decorating for Christmas at Arbor Village. I have to do it when I have time and today was one of those lucky days where I had a couple hours I could run as fast as I could to get everything done. I didn’t take the residents shopping today so it was a more or less easy day. I tried a new design scheme this year. I like to call it Dollar Tree Chic aka I purchased JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING at Dollar Tree. I think it turned out pretty cute and HEY it is possible to design on a dime. In case the pictures do not load in order… my favorite is the table/wine cabinet with the red and green grass…. there is a picture of BEFORE I finished decorating it and after… ENJOY! Comments welcome!
P.S. I guess i should mention these pictures were taken on my phone AND this is not all the decorating I did today… This is all I had time to take pictures of…
Just some thoughts on a “Thankful” attitude….
Thanksgiving
Daddy everybody needs a good daddy and I am so thankful that I have the best one. He is always supportive and willing to teach. He always answers my silly questions and I admire him for his confidence and strength. He truly is my hero.
Mommy I love my mom! People say they see her in me all the time and I can’t think of a better compliment. My mother is the most loving, caring, giving, talented person I know. She has such a strong testimony and she is a wonderful example to everybody.
Jennifer I love my sister. I am pretty sure I would be sitting at home crying 24 hours a day missing my family so much if it weren’t for her! I am thankful she lets me sit on her couch and rough house with her babies. I love when she calls me excited about a craft idea. I love my sister! I love that she supports me at work and will come to some of my activities. Thank you Joe for letting me hang around and invade your home. You are a great father and I can see the love your family has for you.
David makes me laugh! I love him. I love that he will let me talk his ear off when I am on my way home from work (HANDS FREE OF COURSE!!). He is so smart and is going to go far! I love Amanda! She is a great sister to have in the family. She is going to be a great mother and I am extremely thankful she takes good care of my brother….
Christopher The knight! I am thankful for his example to me. He is valiant, trusting, SILLY, and nice to everybody. Sometimes it is hard to do that and he does it so well. I am also thankful he lets me talk to him on my commute.
Elder Muggins who probably hates me for not sending as many letters. I VOW TO BE BETTER! I am so thankful and proud of Michael for serving a mission. He has grown so much and I can’t wait to see him IN A WHILE. He is so smart and of course makes me laugh. My whole family makes me laugh! Michael seems to attract people. You can’t help but want to be around him.
JJ, Jon, Jonny (not sure what the current correct name is!) I love my JJ. The baby of the family. He is so ethusiastic and smart and WILD. I love how excited he will get. Ilove when he calls me to tell me something and I have to slow him down. I love the frequent texts I get from him. They make my day! I LOVE JONNY!
Ashlee and Ethan I love my babies! They make me laugh and feel needed. I love when they scream my name when I come over or even better when they scream because I am leaving. I love their hugs! I love when Ashlee says she loves me with (insert anything) on my head. I love Ethans cuddles and how he wants me to flip him all the time. I love how they think the only way to wake me up is to lick my face (fake sleeping!) They are so cute and loving!
Baby Gigi Even though I do not know if you are a niece or nephew, I still love you! I am pretty sure I will be your favorite aunt! Another baby to spoil 🙂 WOOHOO!!!
Baby Helga Ashlee called you Helga once…. I love you too! I cant wait to spoil you rotten and paint your nails with Ashlee and play princesses!
I am so thankful for the family I have! I am lucky… I have said it before but the Lord truly has spoiled me. I am thankful for the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that helps lead me in my life. I am thankful to have modern day prophets to guide us in this crazy world. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon and the Bible that always seem to speak to me when I need to hear something. I am thankful for the power of prayer and the comfort and answers I recieve. I am truly thankful today.
My after thought… I have been awake since 4:00am which means I won’t get a nap today at Jen’s home! The kiddos lick my face when I sleep… Might have to drive home for a nap!
