Day 5

Day 05- A picture of somewhere you’ve been to

I haven’t really been to very many places (that I can remember!!!) So here is my list of places I remember… Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Illinois, Wisconsin….

This picture is from when I went to Chicago in January of 2010. I love traveling to Chicago. There is so much to see and do and OF COURSE my family is there!

Gospel I have in my life and the testimony of Jesus Christ I have grown to have. I am grateful for the choices my dad made in his life that led him to marry my mother. I am grateful for loving parents who continue to lead and guide me and support me. I am grateful for one of my bestfriends EVER my sister. I would be an utter mess if she was not still in Washington with me. I love her!! And I love her husband and kids! I am so grateful for worthy brothers who along with my dad can lay their hands upon my head and give me a priesthood blessing. I am grateful for my brothers and the love they give me. I am so proud of all of them. I have been blessed being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I will never forget that. I know this church is true. I know Jesus Christ came to earth and died for my sins. I know I have a Heavenly Father and Mother waiting for me to return some day. I know Joseph Smith restored this church and was a true prophet. I am thankful for the work he did bringing The Book of Mormon to pass. It is a true book! A TRUE Other Testament of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for Modern Day Prophets who continue to lead us through inspiritation and revelation from above. I am blessed and I am truly grateful for all the blessings and trials I have been through in this life.

Day 3 part two

I am very grateful for the King family! Tim alwayshelps me with my car. Yesterday he changed the power steering fluid, brake fluid, and flushed the coolant. Instead of being about $400 it cost me $40. Always available for car advice!!! Fanny is like another mother… Or older sister. She knows what to say to cheer me up and is one of the most generous people I know. Tiffany is one of my best friends. She is hilarious and makes me laugh and I can do anything with her. She is my book buddy too! And, whenever I don’t want to drive somewhere alone, she goes with me. Chris makes me laugh… I love when he wrestles with his family too, its hilarious. Kayley is great! She is growing up and let me take her dress shopping and it was soooo much fun! I did think something was wrong in the universe when she asked but it was a lot of fun. Emma is my little fashionista princess. She is fun to be around and so silly.

The Kings are a great family. I love them and very grateful for all the love and laughter they bring to my life!

Day 2

Day 02- The meaning behind your Blog name

This will be easy! My first name is Laura. My middle name is Suzanne! When you put them together, you get my blog name.

Speaking of names… Yesterday I got back to work from taking a resident to a doctor’s appointment. A nurse and the MedTech were both calling after me. I answered and the nurse looked REALLY confused. “Is that Laura? Laura, is that you?”-B “I know. She looks so pretty!”-N “What has changed? You look like a baby!”-B “OH GOODNESS! I left my makeup at my sisters… I’m not wearing any!”-ME

They are so weird. Apparently according to the staff I am beautiful without makeup… The residents think I am kind of ugly without it.

Day 1

Day 01- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

One: I love taking silly pictures… Not really into the serious picture thing.

Two: I love to cook, hate to do dishes.

Three: I love shoes!!!!

Four: I love purses even more!!!

Five: I dream of being a fire fighter someday.

Six: I’ve been sued.

Seven: I am left handed.

Eight: I hate when I take notes and they are sloppy. In college I would rewrite notes multiple times until they were perfect 🙂

Nine: My favorite color is RED.

Ten: My favorite flavor is grape… Ice cream, jelly, Italian Sodas, Soda, Lip Gloss… You name it!!

Eleven: I miss being in school. I love the challenge of learning and studying.

Twelve: I can speed read.

Thirteen: I want to go sky diving SOOO badly!

Fourteen: My favorite place in the world is the Chicago Art Institute. It houses my favorite painting by George Seurat “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte”.

Fifteen: I cry in movies a lot. Weddings, babies, deaths, when the underdog wins… I tend to cry. I once cried so hard in “Armageddon” for the fear of Ben Affleck dieing that I used a whole roll of toilet paper in the first 30 minutes of the movie.
